Classic Sailing Ships

I recently spent time on shenandoah out of martha’s vineyard. At 120 ft with schooner rig, she was built in the 50’s and a based on a revenue schooner from the late 1800’s. She uses a mule boat for moving her around in close quarters. Watching and participating in the lifting of the anchor is quite a work out.

Have spend lots of time up at the port townsend wooden boat festival. Sailed on a few boats in the saturday regatta.
