Purchased a sextant to get my ocean certificate. Invested in an Astra 3 and celestial navigation written by David Burch.
In the future I would like to get training on the use of the sextant during classes like nauticed.org.

In 1731 the sextant was brought to life, it has been used since then to measure the altitude of celestial bodies.
