Tollycraft delivery Port Angeles to LA

One of my crew, myself, and the owner delivered this really nice tollycraft from Port Angeles to LA area. Crew and I trained and bused up to the boat which took all day. We departed the next day early in the morning. That afternoon I noticed that the back stern wall was moving from the weight of the dinghy and the way that the davits were installed.

We set into neah bay in some calm water and tied up to one of my friends boat to inflate the dinghy and then restrain the davits with amsteel to the stern cleats. Took a little over a week to get to LA, had some really rough days in southern oregon where we only made about 100 miles over two days. We also caught two tuna on my hand lines.

In northern california we had one of the pedestal seats fail and threw me into a table. Fortunately the table was easy to move so it broke my fall. We set into Eureka for an evening of repairs. Then after leaving the next day we had a coolant register down by the galley that sprung a leak it drained the engine of coolant so we had to shut it down. Fortunately we could close the ball valves on the register and had enough coolant and onboard water to get us going again.

Once we arrived in LA gave the owner some training on getting in and out of his slip. This will be a great boat for getting to catalina.
